This article applies to the Audi A4 B7 non-Quattro (2005-2008). Listen for the sound of the new fuel pump kicking in. Bump the starter quickly, so as not to actually start the motor. Every time you bump the starter, the pump should run for a few seconds. This process should completely prime the fuel system.

Ok, got in the car to start it, put the key in the ignition. Instead of engaging, the ignition switch spun woth each turn of the key, about 2-3 rotations forward and backward. Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts. I had the same issue with rough idle. You should research PCV fixes for Audi's. I went with the basic PCV fix from BSH speedshop. Fantastic fix. It also solves the oil spewing from the cap issue. The car even runs smoother when throttling at low speed.
